Mrs. Amy Light
  I was born and raised in Wylie, TX.  I graduated from Wylie High School in 1999.  After High School I attended Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia, AR.  I love sports and like to bike, play volleyball, basketball and just about any other sporting activity you can think about.  I enjoy reading mystery and adventure novels. 

I have taught health and coached girls athletics at Burnett Jr. High.  I am currently a special education teacher at Dodd Elementary where I am beginning my third year at Dodd and fifth year teaching in Wylie.  I am also a registered dietitian so I am kind of a "health nut" and enjoy living a healthy lifestyle. 

I am married to Jason Light, also a Wylie graduate, we have been married 6 years.  We have a 2 year old little boy named Brady.
