I will also be using this site to help keep parents in the loop of activities or events happening in Wylie, within the school district, at Draper Intermediate and in room 346.  Student work will be displayed from time to time.  Parent permission to display anything about students on the internet must be obtained before doing so.  If you would like to give permission to display your child's work please check out the Internet Release Form and send it in with your child as soon as possible so that there is permission on file.  No personal information will be given out on this website.  Any mention of student's will be first name, and/or first name and last initial in order to protect their privacy.

       It is not my goal to make this a stressful time for your child, however, please remember that 5th grade is a very difficult grade for many.  There are a lot of changes physically, socially, and academically.  This school year will be a year of changes for them, among some of the changes; they have lockers with locks, changing classes, more than one teacher, increase in homework and the level of difficulty.  Add on to all of this, they have three TAKS tests to prepare for, two (reading and math) of which they must pass in order for promotion.  I want to make this as easy as I can to transition each student and lead them toward success.
