  • All About Me:

I am originally from Scotland but have been living in the great state of Texas since 1996.  I have been married to Steve Clynes for 14 years and we have one son, James, who is an 8th grader in Allen.  Steve is an engineer at Texas Instruments.  I stayed home with James when we first arrived in Texas and headed back to graduate school when he started 1st grade.  I completed my M.S. in Communication Disorders from UTD in 2004 and have been working with school aged children ever since.  I spent 2 years in Richardson ISD, 3 years in Plano ISD (in early childhood) and joined Wylie ISD in August 2009.  I am thrilled to be here and to serve your children.  My hobbies include: - reading, stamping, quilting, collecting ladybugs and Willowtree angels, and socializing with family and friends.  My proudest accomplishment is my son, but you will also hear me bragging on my 3 nieces and one nephew.  I am always available for parent conferences and encourage you to contact me if you have any concerns or questions.  I thank you for allowing me to work with your children.  I feel blessed to be here!
