About Me 

After graduating from the University of North Texas in 2003 with a degree in Journalism/Public Relations, I worked at a public relations firm. While working there, I constantly thought about how I wished I would have gotten my degree in Education. Shortly after that I went back to school and received my certification in Early Childhood Education from Texas A&M-Commerce. The rest is, shall we say, history. I am extremely happy with my decision to become a teacher. It's great to be able to tell people that I love my job, and mean it! This will be my sixth year to teach 1st grade at Dodd.
