Ms. Kincaid's Art II Class

Art II is a beginner/intermediate art class which focuses on the elements and principles of art, as well as art history.  As a student in Art II, you have the opportunity to create works of art using various mediums as well as learn about famous artists and time periods in art history.  This class may focus on similar subjects as the Art I class, but in Art II you have the opportunity to explore a wider variety of art mediums.  This is a great class for those of you interested in continuing your art education in high school.  Art I is a prerequisite for this class, and students are accepted into the class at my discretion.  Everyone may not be the next Picasso, but if you come to class with an open mind and willingness to try you might surprise yourself! 

Students' artwork is displayed throughout the semester and school year in the library, main hall, and fine arts hall.  I invite all families to come view students' works of art any time!
