I am so excited  to be a part of the Dodd Elementary team.  This is my first year as an Assistant Principal in Wylie.  Before getting to Dodd, I was a teacher at Hartman Elementary in Wylie.  I taught 3rd grade there for three years, kindergarten for one year, and 4th grade for 2 years. 

If you haven't already heard, I "won" the pig kissing contest.  I received the most box tops in my bucket to smooch a pig.  Sounds fun, but it was disgusting!  And, someone thought it would be great to have it all on video for  the world to see.  I think I've done my duty as assistant principal by kissing those cute, yet smelly, pigs, but for some reason, I feel like Mr. Evans has something else up his sleeve...hmmm?  We'll see in the months to come.

This is a 30 minute one-on-one mentoring program that allows students time to focus on improving Language Arts skills as well as build positive relationships that encourage successful learning.  If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Mrs. Elderbroom at Diane.Elderbroom@wylieisd.net.

  Watch D.O.G.S. (Dads of Great Students) is a program that allows dads to have an opportunity to join their child/children in school, while being a positive influence on the school environment.  Take one day a year and spend it with your child and their friends at school.  To get more information on the Watch D.O.G.S. program, visit the following link:
