 First Grade teacher

Experience:

This will be my 13th year teaching with experience in many grade levels.  I have taught First Grade for 7 out of the 12 years.

I graduated from Stephen F. Austin State University in December 1995 with a specialization in reading.  

This is my fifth year at Groves.    I look forward to another great year with my First Graders.

On a personal note:

I hope, as your child's teacher, you know that I am always available to you.  Please see my contact information to get a hold of me.  

I love being with your children all day, but I do try to leave school at 3:30.  I have 2 small children, a 4 year old little girl  and a 1 year old son who need their "mommy". I miss them so much during the day. I want to spend as much time with them as possible.  

I hope we  have a great year!  I believe that communication with each other is a great way to help your child succeed.  I look forward to watching each and every one of my students grow and learn.
