READING - We will begin the year studying about Fiction and Non-fiction stories.  Then we will move into the Literary Elements. (Characters, Setting, Plot orProblem, Resolution)

Spelling - Spelling list will come home on a Friday and the test will be on Thursdays!! 

Grammar - We will talk about types of sentences.

First we will do a little bit of reviewing of addition and subtraction.  We will also be identifying Place Value.

We will be learning about the types of Matter.  Solids, liquids and gasses.

We will be learning about communities and maps.
