Meet Mrs. McKethan 

I am so excited about starting the new school year. Second grade is a wonderful time,  in which your child will learn so much!

I am originally from Denton. I graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in Inter-Disaplinary Studies grades 1-8 and a minor in Reading Instruction.

This will be my 9^th year to teach second grade. I have previously taught in Lewisville ISD. This is my 5th year at Tibbals Elementary.

I have been married for 6 years to my husband Keith. He is an English teacher/Football coach at Mesquite High School. We just had a precious baby girl on April 22, 2009 named Kate. We also have a black lab named Rookie. She is still getting used to sharing the house with Kate!
