A little about me...

I am a graduate from Southwest Texas State University (now known as Texas State).  I have a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies and this is my 10th year to teach fourth grade.  I've taught in one other district, prior to WISD and served as a teacher at Sylvan Learning Center for 2 years.

I love spending time with my family and friends and enjoy running, biking, and swimming.  I enjoy writing, drawing, and hosting events.

The LATEST news is that Matt and I welcomed our new baby boy on May 15, 2008.  We are proud new parents and we're loving every minute of it.

Although I love teaching and spending time with my students...I've always wanted to be the voice of a character/animation in a PIXAR or Disney movie.  I think I would probably be some type of "country" animal (with my accent).
