Hi, My name is Mrs. Tigert

and I am the art teacher at Davis Intermediate!!!

About Me:

My name is Atlanta Tigert and this is my 6th year to teach Art.    I taught 4 years of Middle School Art in Carrollton Farmers Branch before coming to Wylie.  My husband Mike and I have lived in Sachse for 5 years.  We have one daughter, Blythe, who is 3 and a Weimaraner named Gordy. I have loved art since I was little, and continue to enjoy it now that I am a big kid!  I enjoy working in my yard planting all kinds of plants and flowers, spending time with my daughter and husband, and going to warm tropical places.    

My Education: I graduated from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in December 1998 with a bachelors degree in Art Education.
