Teacher Biography
I a native to the Dallas area and grew up in
Richardson. My parents are Barbara and Lou Lenzer (86/87
years old) live in the same house we moved
into when I was 6 months old. I have
three older brothers, one of whom is
deceased. My husband and I
live in Plano,
with my 21 year old son, Nathan.
My daughter Christy is 26 years old
and is going to begin studies for a Masters Degree in nursing in Austin. However, that is subject to change. My stepson Matt is 29, lives in Dallas and will be getting married to a lovely
girl, Gabriella, the end of October.
Family ties are very important me.
I have been teaching for 16 plus years. My experience includes both private and
public school, in
grades 1, 2, 3, and 4. I am certified
to teach grades 1-8th with a specialization in Reading.
I completed my masters in 2005 with a Principal Certification. In my course of professional development, I
have earned my Gifted and Talented Certificate, Wylie Bronze, Silver, and
Gold Professional Development Levels, and other extensive technology courses,
grant writing, and more. I love
children and truly strive to help them become thriving, responsible, caring people.
One of my favorite words that can apply to many areas of one's life and
challenges is to KEEP ON BELIEVING.
