Position Descriptions

President

  • co-ordinate agenda for meetings

  • co-sign checks with the treasurer

  • delegate duties to club officers and committee chairpersons

  • appoint audit committee

Vice-President

  • Head meetings in the absence of the president

  • make arrangements for all meetings including meeting place

  • assume presidency in the event of a vacancy

  • head executive meetings in the absence of the president

  • assist committee chairpersons concerning goals and special projects of the booster club if necessary

Secretary

  • Keep the minutes of the meetings and give all members notice

  • Write and distribute monthly notices and newsletters

  • Read the minutes from previous meetings

Treasurer

  • Give financial report at each meeting or upon member request

  • Co-sign all checks with the president or Director

  • Maintain accurate financial records for the booster club

  • Be responsible for "moneys due" and payable

  • Deposit all moneys in a financial institution as determined by the executive committee

Historian/Publicity

  • Attend all events and functions and record by taking pictures for club's scrapbook

  • To ensure positive public attention and support of Booster Club fundraisers and other activities
