I currently teach 7th and 8th grade students in the area of Math as well as coaching 7th and 8th grade athletics. I enjoy playing with my little Boston Terrier, Tinkers and my new puppy Little Bit (Bug Puppy).  I previously taught 6th grade math at Cooper Jr. High.

I received my teaching degree through Region 10 in the area of 4-8 Mathematics.

I received my bachelors in business with a concentration in marketing from Dallas Baptist University (DBU). While attending DBU, I participated in the Lady Patriot Soccer team, Cross Country team and Indoor/ Outdoor Track team.

I graduated from Wylie High School in the spring of 2000 in the top 25% of my class.  I was also in the National Honor Society and won the principal’s Pirate Pride Award.  While I was at WHS, I competed in cross country, volleyball, softball, power lifting, basketball, soccer and track.   I was successful in many of these sports but favor my time going to state in power lifting due to all the hard work and early hours I put in to achieve this accomplishment.  While I was on the Wylie soccer team, the team made it to the Sweet 16 in the state.  I went to regionals all four years in cross country.  I was a captain in both soccer and cross country.  Although it appears I would be extremely busy while participating in all these things, I also found the time to let my sports life honor God as I helped lead the Fellowship of Christian Athletes at my school alongside Coach Big Daddy William who was an inspiration to me.
