Mrs. LaPrades' First Grade Class

About Mrs. LaPrade: A graduate of Texas A&M University, with a B.S. in Elementary Education/Kindergarten. Has taught in public education going on twenty-one years. I have 3 grown children, two daughter-in-laws, and two beautiful grandsons. Oldest son is head band director at Clark High School in Plano. Middle son is employed by Texas A&M Veterinary Diagnostic Lab, and my daughter and her husband reside in Lubbock, Texas. 

I grew up in a small town, San Saba, which is known as the pecan capital of the world. Population 2000. My husband is Terry, and teaches math and coaches at Bishop Lynch High School in Dallas.

My conference time this year will be 1:00-1:55. Please feel free to call or come by during this time.

Our lunch schedule this year is from 11:30-11:50 with recess from 10:30-11:00.

Phonics, spelling, language arts, will be in the morning along with Math. Reading, Social Studies, and Science will be in the afternoon. 

We will dismiss this year at 2:30.
