About Me

I am a graduate of University of North Texas with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. I have been teaching for 10 years. This is my second year as a GT Coordinator. Prior to this, I taught fourth grade and second grade.

I have a 10 year old daughter and two step sons who are in college. My husband and I live in Farmersville where we have 10 acres and lots of critters. In my spare time I like to cook, read, and dabble in photography.

Welcome back to another fun-filled year in W.I.N.G.S.

This year G. T. students will spend more time in their G.T. classroom. I will see students for an hour and a half two days a week as well as helping out in their classrooms once a week.

This first six weeks 1st and 2nd graders will be learning about matter, focusing specifically on boiling point and freezing point. 3rd and 4th graders will be conducting experiments to investigate electromagnets and how electromagnetic technology is used today.

I am so excited to get started!

G.T. School Supplies

If your child is new to GT, or was a kindergartener last year, you will need to bring a composition notebook or spiral notebook to class as soon as possible.

Supplies you can purchase if you wish: markers, crayons, glue sticks, zip lock baggies, construction paper, pencils, scissors and card stock.
