Donations

Our classroom is in need of some extra items.  If you would like to help us out with some of that, please do.  Please do not feel obligated.

Working flashlight

paper plates (the cheap white ones)

paper bags

shaving cream (the cheap stuff)

10 # bags of rice

2 more bags of blue play sand (from Walmart)

Things to Work on at Home

-tying shoes

-writing name in appropriate form

-fine motor skills (use playdough, silly putty, tear paper with pinchers only, etc)

-recognition of letters and numbers

Remember:

Please be sure that you have sent all of your students school supplies ASAP.  Don't forget that I have asked for a pencil box or bag for each child.  Also, the correct writing tablets are now at Wylie Printing and Office Supply.  We need those very soon.

If your child is participating in the decorate a chili pepper contest, be sure to send your donation with it to school.  If we have 100% participation, all of the students will get a free kid's meal at Chili's.

Things are starting to run a little more smoothly, but remember to talk with your children about listening and following directions.  Reinforcing this at home would be most helpful to the smoothness of our day.
