My Story

My name is Jennifer Lambert and I am the proud mother of Tyler and Travis Lambert.  Tyler is a second grader at Cox Elementary and Travis is in Kindergarten.  My husband Bill and I have been married for nine years and are high school sweethearts.  We live in Sachse with our two dogs, the only other girls in my house. 

After graduating from J.M. Hanks High School in El Paso, I went to Dallas Baptist University.  I graduated in 1999 with my major in Elementary Education with a concentration in Math.  In 2005 I decided to go back to school and graduated in 2006 with my Master's Degree in Educational Administration, also from Dallas Baptist University.

My first job was teaching 4th grade in Garland ISD, where I stayed for five years.  I have now taught in Wylie ISD for five years.  I have taught fourth grade and second grade and now teach Gifted and Talented (K-4th grade).  I love having the opportunity to train new teachers.  I hope to some day be able to do this  more often.
