  All About Me 

I grew up in Boise, Idaho, but moved to Oklahoma after graduating from high school.  I attended Southern Nazarene University and received a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education. 

This will be my 6^th year teaching.  Before coming to Smith Elementary, I taught in Sachse at Armstrong Elementary for 4 years.

My husband and I have a precious little girl named Meleia Jaide.  She is our pride and joy.

In my spare time, I enjoy scrapbooking, reading and working out.

8:00-8:45- Word Work (Spelling, Word Wall, Phonics,

 Handwriting)

8:45-9:45- Math Instruction (Introduce Concept, Math Tubs,

 Independent Practice)

9:45-10:15-Science/Social Studies

10:15-10:40 Recess

10:45-11:20 Lunch

11:20-12:05-Writers Workshop

12:05-1:05-Reading Workstations/Small Group Instruction

1:10-2:05 CAMP

2:10-2:25 Wrap up/Pack up

2:30 Dismissal
