There once was a man walking along the beach.  He ran into a Teacher who was picking up and throwing starfish back into the ocean.  The man asked, "Why are you throwing the starfish back into the ocean?  Don't you realize there are miles and miles of beach with starfish on the shore?  You cant possibly make a difference!"  The Teacher listened and reached down and threw another starfish back into the ocean.  The Teacher then replied, "I may not be able to save all the starfish but I can make a difference in this ones life."

Welcome to Coach Martindale's web site.  Let me tell you a little about myself.  My career has consisted of teaching and coaching. I have taught from K3 through 12th grade and coached Basketball, Volleyball and Track and Field. I have enjoyed every step and move I have made in my career. Each year holds different adventures. Now that I am a retired coach, I enjoy the joys that come with every day of teaching Physical Education here at Davis.  I count it as a privilege to come to work every day with your children.

When I am not at Davis I enjoy doing water sports, playing tennis, scrapbooking, drawing and painting. My greatest joy is spending time on the beach! Especially Panama City Beach, Florida!
