Office Notes

When picking up your child during the school day, please remember to bring your I.D. If it will be necessary for someone who is not on your child’s contact list to pick him up during the day, please send a note to the office which includes the name of the person picking up your child, the date, and your signature.

If you need to update your child’s contact information, please send a note to the office. Include your child’s name and the updated information, and sign and date it. If you are changing your address, please bring a copy of your new gas, electric, or water bill, or the lease or contract showing the new address, to the office so we can make a copy of it for our records.

Wylie Pirate football playoff tickets will be sold at the Pirate stadium and the Wylie Educational Service Center on Ballard beginning Tuesday, Nov. 18 at 8:00 am.  Adults are $8 and students are $7.  The game is Saturday, Nov. 22 at Texas Stadium in Irving and will begin at 2:00 pm.  Buy your tickets early.

Cici's Pizza of Wylie celebrates Harrison Day on the 4th Tuesday of every month.  On this day, if you eat in or carry out, just tell the cashier you are there for Harrison Intermediate and we will receive a portion of the proceeds from your ticket.  This month our day is Oct. 28.

The WISD annual food drive for the Christian Care Center will begin on Nov 7 here at Harrison.  We will be collecting nonperishable food through Nov 18 for the less fortunate of our community.  Harrison always has strong participation in this event and we know that our parents will come through again this year.  Thank you in advance for helping us out.

Our Lost and Found is overflowing with jackets and sweatshirts, as well as lunchboxes.  We also have a drawer full of jewelry (earrings, bracelets, and watches), glasses and key rings.  If your child has lost an item, please ask him or her to check the lost and found outside the cafeteria or come by the office.  You may also email me a description and I will be happy to look for you.
