Biography

In 1999, I graduated from North Garland High School in Garland, Texas. After graduating, I attended Richland College. I received my Associate of Arts Degree. After leaving Richland College, I attended The University of Texas at Dallas where I earned my Bachelor of Arts Degree. I majored in Literary Studies, and I earned my teaching certificate. I am certified to teach secondary English grades 6-12. I plan to continue my education, and I hope to someday be an administrator. I have been married to my husband, John, for six years. We are high school sweethearts. John is a history teacher and is the head coach and athletic coordinator at Burnett Junior High in Wylie. On May 26, 2006, we were blessed with a daughter.
