Kicking Horse Camp Ground, Natural Bridge, and Emerald Lake

Kicking Horse Camp Ground is the place that has given Glacier National Park (US) a run for the premiere location that we have visited.  It is truly a beautiful place!  For 360 degrees we could see beautiful mountains and through the trees was an amazing river.  It is truly awesome!

Once we set camp...we looked around
and could not believe the beauty.

We could see mountains all around.

On this mountain was a hanging glacier.

Through the woods was a river of snow melt...

and a little sand beach where we could read...

have fun...

go crazy...

and climb around.

T. looks up from her book...

M. plays around on the rocks...

and S. glances over while on a break.

T. takes a photo of me as I look for rocks.

The river cut this natural bridge through a nearly vertical
rock formation.  We could see from below that the rocks
were pushed almost straight up.

Here is a closer shot of us near the bridge.

At Emerald Lake M. & S. pose in a row boat.
