Please make sure your child's lunch account stays current. I will send low balance notes home as I get the info. You can also check online.
Remember: School hours are 7:30-2:30! Please be aware that your child is TARDY if he/she is not in the classroom at the 7:30 bell. Please adjust your timing on bad weather days!
If you have not signed up for Family Access, please bring your driver's license to the office and they will sign you up. You can sign "Beginning of the Year" forms on Family Access. It is a wonderful tool to use through out the year. Sept. 12th is the last day to sign up in order to do beginning of school papers done online.
**Please remember that Wylie ISD is a "No Cell Phone District". This means that you can not talk on a cell phone while you are in a school zone.**
My name is Stephanie Owens and I am so excited to be teaching 1st grade at Tibbals Elementary. This is my second year in Wylie ISD and my second year to teach 1st grade.
I grew up in the Dallas area and moved to Murphy four years ago. I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with Bachelor of Science degrees in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I taught kindergarten for seven years in both public and private school before I had kids. I am married to Ron and have a son named Ryan, 7th grade, and a daughter named Macy, 1st grade. I also taught Pre-K for eight years at my church while my kids were there in preschool.
