Remember: School hours are 7:30-2:30! Please be aware that your child is TARDY if he/she is not in the classroom at the 7:30 bell. Please adjust your timing on bad weather days!

My name is Stephanie Owens and I am so excited to be teaching 1st grade at Tibbals Elementary. This is my third year in Wylie ISD and my third year to teach 1st grade.
I grew up in the Dallas area and moved to Murphy five years ago. I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with Bachelor of Science degrees in Early Childhood and Elementary Education. I taught kindergarten for seven years in both public and private school before I had kids. I am married to Ron and have a son named Ryan, 8th grade, and a daughter named Macy, 2nd grade. I also taught Pre-K for eight years at my church while my kids were there in preschool.
