If you are in 3rd or 4th grade, don't forget to check out the 2009-2010 Bluebonnet Books!  If you read five books from this year's award-nominated selection, you are eligible to vote for your favorite book next January.  You can help select the next Bluebonnet Award winner!

Don't forget to make use of TumbleBooks!

This exciting TumbleBookLibrary is a collection of animated, talking picture books, TumblePuzzles, and TumbleQuizzes. TumbleBooks are created from existing picture books which we have licensed from children's book publishers and converted to the TumbleBook format.

If you are student at Birmingham, this account has been set up and is ready for your use. Please feel free to log on today by clickin on the above box.   For information on how to use Tumblebooks, click here.

" Books fall open, and you fall in."  Mary Englebreit

I have been privileged to work at the Birmingham Library for over three years now and I love both the children and the books!  I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Communication from Clarion State University in Pennsylvania and I previously taught computer programs, time management, and team building programs at a large corporate business.  I'm happy to be a part of Wylie ISD!

Please feel free to call me at any time with questions or concerns about the library.

Library hours:  7:45 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. - 2:15 p.m
