We have some new Magic Tree House books in the library, due to two Books for Birthday donations!  Delaney Ayers turned 7 on December 4th and she donated the book "Dolphins at Daybreak" to the library to celebrate this birthday.  Thank you, Delaney, for thinking of Birmingham.

Also, Josh Jaynes turns 11 on June 15th and he donated the book "A Good Night for Ghosts" to the library to celebrate his birthday.  Happy Birthday to you! Birmingham appreciates these donations!

And the winner is.... Help Me, Mr. Mutt! by Janet Stevens.  Thanks for helping pick the 2010 Bluebonnet Award winner, Birmingham.  This picture book was our school's nomination for the winning book as well!  The new 2010-2011 Bluebonnet books are now in so you can get a jump start on next year.  Feel free to check one out today!

Don't forget to make use of TumbleBooks!

This exciting TumbleBookLibrary is a collection of animated, talking picture books, TumblePuzzles, and TumbleQuizzes. TumbleBooks are created from existing picture books which we have licensed from children's book publishers and converted to the TumbleBook format.

If you are student at Birmingham, this account has been set up and is ready for your use. Please feel free to log on today by clicking on the above box.   For information on how to use Tumblebooks, click here.

Please feel free to call me at any time with questions or concerns about the library.
