NNotes From Your Teacher
One more week until Thanksgiving vacation! Just a few things to touch base one. Please continue to read every night with your kids. I am having several kids tell me they are not reading the readers being sent home. Thank you so much for taking time to do this. It improves their confidence and reading skills. Also, I have sent home t-shirt order forms. These shirts will only be offered to first graders. (hence – 01 on the back) If you would like to order for you or your child, put adult or youth beside the size.
Thank you for bringing in items for the trail mix. I have sent home a note for the Thanksgiving snack Feast for first grade. It will be this Friday at 12:15, if you would like to join us. You may bring in your assigned food item on Thursday or Friday.
Don’t forget, we are out of school the 23-27th.

White
Family: I am the proud mom of two beautiful little girls. Whitney is 8 years old and will be in 3rd grade at Tibbals this year. Aubrey is 5 years old and is in Kinder. I just celebrated my 9th wedding anniversary with my wonderful husband Grant.
Career: This is my 6th year at Tibbals. The first year I taught fourth grade as I had done previously for 3 years at Groves. This will be my 5th year teaching first grade. I have also taught 7th and 8th grade in Richardson, as well as coached 7th grade girls volleyball and track.
Education: I graduated from Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education.
