· My teaching career began in a private preschool where I taught for many years.  When my own children went to college, I decided to join them and worked toward a secondary teaching degree. I graduated from Texas A&M University-Commerce with a BS degree in English and Sociology.   I have taught 9th, 10th, and 11th grade Language Arts.  This will be my 4^th year in Wylie, and I am currently teaching 7th and 8th grade Wings and 7th grade Language Arts. · Some of my hobbies include spending time with my family.  I have a great family including my husband, a daughter and son-in-law, and a son and daughter-in-law. I have three grandchildren – Jules, Luke, and Savannah.  I love being outside, going to the beach on vacation, and reading.  Some of my favorite things are butterflies and tulips. I really enjoy spending time with my precious children and grandchildren. Also, I have always loved being a teacher.
