A Little About Mrs. Omidvar

Education:  I have earned my Bachelor of Arts in Literary Studies from the University of Texas at Dallas. I also carry teaching certification for secondary Math grades 6 thru 12.

Teaching Experience: This will be my seventh year to teach as well as my fifth year at Wylie High School. I have previously taught Math Models, Geometry, and Algebra 1. This will be my sixth year teaching Algebra 1 and my 3rd year to teach Geometry.

Teaching philosophy: I will do my best to be a facilitator and guide students to finding their way. I believe that students who are led to think on their own and reason through problems will gain personal satisfaction, obtain the most knowledge, and will be the most successful.

Personal: I have been married for 10 years and I have one little boy, Armin, born May 18, 2005.
