08/20/2010 Hello and welcome to the 2010-2011 school year! I am so excited about starting this year with a bang and ending it with success. Please take a moment to look at the Art Supply List for your child's grade level. If you have any questions or concerns please send me an email and we can accommodate your child's needs. I want every child in class to feel comfortable and know this Art class will be a wonderful experience for them. 5th grade Folder with pockets (folders will be left in class) Pencil Erasers (vinyl works best and help prevent tearing the paper) 6th grade 8.5 x 11 Spiral sketchbook OR a folder with brads to hold paper. Folder of any color with pockets to hold notes. ( if your child will be using a folder as their sketchbook, there's no need to bring a second folder). Fine tip sharpie marker Pencils white vinyl erasers (vinyl works best and help prevent tearing the paper) Posterboard: this will be used as a portfolio that will be kept in class during the year; students may take it home to show off their work but please have them return it as soon as possible.
