Welcome to Teresa Rea's Website

Hello! 

My name is Teresa Rea.  I have been teaching for 10 years, all in 2nd and 3rd grade.  I even taught in Belgium and Singapore!  This is my 4th year at Akin and I love being a Frog!

I have been married for 13 years and have a son in 2nd grade.   When I was a child, my favorite subject in school was reading/language and history/social studies. I still enjoy reading and history, as well as walking, traveling, puzzles and teaching, of course!

  The thing I love most about teaching  is seeing the kids' eyes light up when they understand a new idea or skill.  Third grade is a big year for learning new ideas and skills, not to mention the TAKS tests are coming up in the spring. I know we will have a successful year if we work together!
