What's New!!!

Wylie Choice High School is!!!

Wylie ISD has a long and proud history of excellence in education, and every year we write another page in that history.  This year marks the year of the first graduating class from Wylie Choice High School.  These graduating Seniors will not only be the first Seniors from Wylie Choice High School, but the first Seniors to walk across the stage in the new Wylie East Auditorium to  receive their diplomas.  We have a well qualified and dedicated staff and our goal is for all our Seniors to get a quality education; as well as, their high school diploma.  However, the dedication of our Seniors is as vital as the dedication of our staff, if we are to succeed. The 2007-2008 school year is going to be a year filled with success.

About Me

Welcome to my webpage.  I'm so glad you stopped by to visit.  I am currently the Educational Aide at Wylie Choice High School and I occasionally assist in the DAEP when I am needed.  In 1988 I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education with a major in Secondary Mathematics and a minor in Chemistry and Physics from Southern Arkansas University (Go Muleriders!!!). My husband, youngest daughter, and I moved to Texas from Arkansas in 2006.  What a change to my life!!!

I am very happily married to the love of my life, Allen Terry, and we have a beautiful "his, mine, and ours" family.  This year we have one graduating from Cosmetology school, one graduating from High School, and one graduating from Pre-K.  Oh, how fun it is at our house!!!! ;o)  Amidst all the excitement, we can't forget the other two.  Our oldest is a soldier in the United States Army and we also have one in the second grade.

This is my first year at the Wylie Choice High School, but it is a great one.  Working with at risk to graduate Seniors is very rewarding.  I have seen so much accomplished, and  I am very proud of all my students, the goals they have attained, and the ones they have set for their futures. Take a look around and my email is always open.  Feel free to drop me a line anytime.
