A little information about Mr. Wood

Mr. Wood grew up in Garland and went to Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas.  After graduation he moved to Nashville, Tennessee and worked in the music business for ten years in booking and PR.  He moved back to Texas and went into education.  He has taught every year in third grade and one year in fourth grade.   Mr. Wood will be starting his fifth year of teaching and has loved every moment of it.  The philosophy that Mr. Wood adheres to is that every student needs to be made accountable for their own education.  An education that should involve everyone the student, parents, and the teacher.

What Mr. Wood expects from his students and parents

• I expect every student to read ten minutes Monday - Thursday night.
• I expect every student to learn their multiplication facts through twelve times twelve.
• I expect students to complete all work.
• I expect every student to have their assignment sheet signed, by their parents, Monday through Friday.  This will be the students responsibility not the teachers or the parents.
• I expect every student to follow all school rules and classroom rules.
• I expect every student to do their best
