Experience
I have over 14 years
experience as a computer programmer, systems architect and database
administrator. I am micro-soft certified
in Visual Basic and SQL. I have working experience with
Access, VBA, Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook and Front page. I
have some experience programming with .net as well. In
addition to programming, I have
10 years experience as a LAN/WAN Network Administrator. As a
network administrator I worked with Windows 3.1, 95, NT, 2000 and XP.
I have also worked as a corporate trainer and help desk
administrator.
This is my third year
working for Wylie ISD. Prior to working at Akin, I spent 2
years teaching
kindergarten readiness at Wylie UMC Pre-school. I look forward
to using my technical knowledge while teaching Akin students
computer skills that they can take with them when
they move on. Computers are the future for the children of today.
I want to teach them that the computer is a useful tool and not just for playing games.
I live in Wylie with
my husband of 11 years and our two children. Our
children are
students here at Akin
