This will be my first year teaching in Wylie I.S.D. I have been teaching for 8 years; the last five in Dallas I.S.D. at an arts' magnet. I graduated from the University of North Texas in May 1998 with a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies. I received my ESL certification in 2002.
I look forward to working with your child this year. In 4th grade we introduce a lot of new information. In the spring your child will be taking three sections of TAKS; reading, math, and writing. We do a lot of writing to prepare them for the test. I know your child will have a fun and exciting year!
My husband Jeff and I have been married for 7 years. We have a
dog named Coda that we adopted three years ago from the humane
society.
