I am a 1992 graduate of
Texas A&M University. I began my career in Marketing in Austin, but
quickly realized that I truly wanted to be a teacher. I volunteered
for the Adult Literacy Council in Austin for several years before
returning to school to become a certified teacher.
I have
taught in public schools for three years and the private sector for
four. I have been married for twelve years and have two children. We
also have two Labradors, five fish and four hermit crabs, so our
menagerie keeps us quite busy! When we aren’t at soccer games or
practices, dance class or Scout meetings, we love to camp and enjoy
the great outdoors.
I believe in building learning communities in
the classroom and with the parents of my students. We will work
together to educate your child! I look forward to a great year!
